KAWARTHA LAKES CONCERT BAND PRESENTS

A SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION

WITH OUR SPECIAL GUESTS THE WESTON SILVER BAND

The Kawartha Lakes Concert Band returns to the Flato Academy Theatre on Saturday, June 22nd for their final performance of the year. Wrapping up its sixth successful season, this band has established itself as not only a quality performance ensemble but also an important member of the music community in the City of Kawartha Lakes. This concert will mark the final performance with conductor David Morrison at the helm, and as such will feature some of his personal favourites for concert band. As well, KLCB are thrilled to welcome back as their special guests, the award-winning Weston Silver Band under the musical direction of Mr. Larry Shields. The Weston Silver Band is one of the very best brass bands in North America and are not to be missed. The concert will feature a wonderfully diverse selection of musical works from both bands and will appeal to audience members of every age, so bring the whole family out for a wonderful evening of musical entertainment.
